• THE WORKSHOP: This practical training session will take a hands-on approach to independent writing and freelancing requirements including writing creatively, offering a range of steps to help participants develop and enhance their writing skills, and encouraging them to explore writing resources of thinking, observing, appraising and analyzing towards a more valuable writing. The essence shall be to exposing participants to writing patterns and methodologies to suit emerging opportunities (including special group audience) and avenues for independent writing projects, local/international freelancing opportunities as well as enhancing skills for online/self-publishing process.

• WORKSHOP AIMS: The training is basically aimed at providing knowledge for increasing journalistic proficiency in the subject areas of creative writing, freelance writing and online publishing appraisals for a varied of writing and publishing interests’ vis-à-vis independent book writing/publishing, print/online and blogging options and aspects of specialized writing for freelance writing and newsletter/magazine publication. 

• TRAINING STYLE: The workshop will be undertaken via an interactive audience participation session (virtually and as possible, a physical meeting), with Facilitators giving practical exercises and activities designed to ignite and sustain the writing and publishing impulse of participants for a varied of writing and book publishing format.
